Hello Head Chef! My name is Kristen and I have just graduated from Cal State Long Beach in California with a degree in communication studies. I have a great deal of baking experience and have a passion for cooking, but what I really aspire to do is work for the Food Network or the Cooking Channel. I know that these stations are owned by Scripps Networks, but I'm sort of lost on where to start in order to achieve my goal of getting a job working for one of these stations. Any suggestions? Thanks! So glad I found this website!! It's awesome to be able to connect with people who share the same passion for cooking! :)

Wanted to know if you had any ideas on how I could get more exposure for my group Menus 101? I would think it would be a great place for people to submit any and all potential or current menu's they have be it for a dinner party or their restaurant or just to get ideas on paper. So far there really are only two of us that have contributed. Let me know your thoughts.

Hey Jacky, thanks for the add. I just graduated for culinary/ pastry and am now looking for work (I actually want to do Pastry). I live in FL. The jobs are WAY down here right now, so I'm having a hard time finding anything.
