Jeffrey Kraus | Chef's Blade

Don’t want to see your chef like this, do you? Find out 10 executive chef pet peeves!

Whether you are currently working in your dream job or making steps towards it, we can all agree that there are things we love and hate about work.

To find out what executive chefs hate about their work I sought out one of Arizona’s most experienced chefs: Chef Pascal Dionot. He has more than 30 years of global experience in Hotel & Restaurant management and is currently the Chef and the School Director of the Classic Cooking Academy in Scottsdale, Arizona.

Here’s a list of his 10 least favorite things that hold true for most executive chefs.

good points, yet somewhat vague. think this cat is burnt...like the bottom of a pan from a yellow flame...

Interesting and fairly accurate...but I thought the article was about what makes Chef's blow up at workers? I really don't care if some hot shot chef is having a bad day, just don't take it out on me!

I can live w/o tv, it deminishes the time available to be in the kitchen. Messy co-workers are my #1 pet peeve. I keep 2 or more towels in my area just to clean as I go. I hate dirty work surfaces. Peace

I don't hate those. In fact I love them!1 Thry're great laughing "stock". I like Hells Kitchen the most. Chopped was good, and who can't live without Iron Chef is beyond me.

Ain't it the truth! Luckily quite a few of these can be fixed or at least mitigated
