If you’re flying in to the convention, you’ll want to keep your travel time as manageable as possible, especially when you’re worn out at the end of the show. If you must fly to get to your destination, limit what you’ve packed to a single bag that will fit in an overhead bin.

If you can leave some space to take home a few key things you’ll pick up at the show, that’s great, too. Oh, and don’t forget your business cards! Conventions are a great opportunity to network, but you’ll miss that opportunity if you can’t keep the connection alive after the show.
